Since the stable release is about a month away, Samsung appears to be preparing for One UI 8 Beta 5 for the Galaxy S25 series, while the company’s notice puts a launch timeline for the beta 5’s release, but only to some extent.
Basically, to quickly recall, Samsung initiated its latest Android 16-based One UI 8 beta program for the Galaxy S25 series at the end of May, which was then followed by the 2nd beta in early June, the 3rd beta at the end of June, and lastly, the 4th beta, which arrived just two weeks ago from now.
Meanwhile, a new report suggests that it appears like another One UI 8 beta will follow the Galaxy S25 models.
One UI 8 Beta 5 for Galaxy S25 Might Arrive Next Week
Specifically, a tipster posted that Samsung has posted a notice regarding the rollout of One UI 8 beta 5 after beta 4, which says that the company is already preparing to release One UI 8 Beta 5 for the Galaxy S25 series, starting next week. However, the notice doesn’t mention any exact date scheduled for the release, but the beta update for the S25 family is supposed to begin from the next week.
At the same time, the expansion of the One UI 8 beta program has already started for the Galaxy S24 series, followed by Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 models in a few selective countries, while it will sequentially expand to more eligible phones in the coming future.
Well, it appears like the Galaxy S25 series will perhaps receive the stable One UI 8 version, and other eligible models will be testing the beta version simultaneously.
