Samsung Prepares Galaxy A55 for One UI 8 Beta

While the Galaxy A55 is the strongest contender of the ongoing One UI 8 Beta program, after the Galaxy A56, Samsung is already testing the newest beta build on its internal test servers for the Galaxy A55 models.

Right after announcing the expansion of the One UI 8 beta program to even more Galaxy devices, Samsung has delivered the first beta build for the Galaxy S24 series alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 models.

Meanwhile, it looks like the Galaxy A55 model is also being prepared for the latest Android 16-based One UI 8 beta phase, as, according to the post shared by the tipster, Tarun Vats, on X, Samsung seems to be testing the One UI 8 beta build for the Galaxy A55 units on its internal test servers for the first time.

This eventually suggests that the Galaxy A55 models have also joined the One UI 8 beta testing list and the firmware development is already underway.

At the same time, Samsung has already started the expansion of the latest One UI 8 beta program for more eligible Galaxy devices, while it will reach other models gradually and sequentially over the coming weeks, and the stable One UI 8 release for the Galaxy S25 series in September simultaneously.

Well, Samsung has, however, not yet clarified the full list of Galaxy devices that are eligible to receive the One UI 8 beta, but it’s perhaps possible that the company could add more models, from budget-range to mid-tier models, alongside the compatible flagships to the beta list.
