Samsung Confirms Official One UI 8 Rollout for Your Galaxy Devices

Samsung just hints at the Android 16-based One UI 8 timeline for eligible Galaxy smartphones, confirming that the latest OS will arrive next month, starting with the Galaxy S25 series.
The company already introduced the stable One UI 8 version last month with the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7; meanwhile, a beta program has been ongoing for the Galaxy S25 series, Galaxy S24 series, and Galaxy Z Fold 6 & Flip 6 in select markets. Now, it is looking forward to releasing the stable version to eligible devices.
Samsung took to its official newsroom to share a few details regarding several aspects of the One UI 8. It also confirmed that it will start rolling out the stable version of the update in September, starting with the Galaxy S25 series, before being expanded to other eligible flagship devices.
As of the date of writing, the Galaxy S25 models, including the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra, have already received five beta updates. Although a recent report also suggested that the company is still looking forward to releasing the sixth beta update (One UI 8 Beta 6) for these smartphones. Noticeably, the company hasn’t revealed the exact date for the release, as it just confirmed the month.
However, a few weeks ago, Samsung already revealed the expected stable One UI 8 release for September. Apart from this, it also claimed to extend the One UI 8 beta update for a few older flagship and mid-range Galaxy A-series devices; it remains to be seen whether it will fulfill the commitment.
