Samsung again hints at the Galaxy Tri-Fold launch timeline

Samsung officially announced that its first multi-folding device is in the final stage and also hinted at the launch timeline of the device.
For so long, Samsung has been working on its tri-folding device, which is rumored to be called the Galaxy Tri-Fold; however, the official name is yet to be clear. Back in July, the company debuted the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE at the Unpacked event. A few weeks later, during the 2Q25 Earnings Conference Call, it announced that it would launch its tri-fold later this year.
A few recent rumors suggest that the upcoming Galaxy Tri-Fold will launch next month in selected regions and globally next year. To date of writing, there are dozens of leaks and rumors regarding the tri-fold launch timeline; even Samsung itself has hinted at the expected timeline (by the end of this year), but the exact date is yet to be revealed.
Again, while speaking to the media at IFA in Berlin, Roh hinted at Samsung’s plans for next-generation products, which include its tri-fold phone. He stated that, finally, the development of the device has reached the “final stage,” adding that the company plans to release the device “by the end of this year.”
However, there’s no concrete date as yet, but given that the end of this year is barely three months away, we won’t have to wait for too long. Apart from this, recently, it’s also been reported that Samsung is also looking forward to launching a new Fold next year, which is expected to feature a screen ratio that is shorter vertically when folded but longer horizontally.
