Snapdragon Variant of Galaxy S24 Officially Coming to India

Samsung is now expanding the availability of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered Galaxy S24 (vanilla variant) in the Indian market months after the official launch.

Back in 2024, Samsung launched the Galaxy S24 lineup, including three variants—Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Initially, Samsung launched the Galaxy S24 powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (4nm) chipset in selected regions, including the US, Canada, and China. While the global variant uses the in-house Exynos 2400 chipset.

Now, Samsung India has officially announced that the company is looking forward to bringing the Snapdragon-powered Galaxy S24 to the Indian market, and Flipkart has already teased about this model with the BBD sale offer. Noticeably, the chipset is the only major difference; apart from this, the device will feature the same novelties that came out in 2024.

Samsung is offering four color choices for the device, including Onyx Black, Marble Grey, Amber Yellow, and Cobalt Violet. However, Samsung hasn’t mentioned any specific reason behind expanding the Snapdragon-powered Galaxy S24 availability to India. It will remain to be seen whether the company will expand availability in more regions or will be limited to India.

However, the latest Galaxy S25 series has already overshadowed the Galaxy S24 series, and even these two will be overshadowed next year when the company introduces the Galaxy S26 series.
