Well, the Galaxy A36 owners took part in the Android 16-based One UI 8 beta program a few weeks ago, which was then followed by the stable update and was only limited to the company’s home country, South Korea.
Now, it looks like Samsung has begun expansion of the One UI 8 stable version for the Galaxy A36 models, as the update has reached Europe. It’s expected to reach more regions over the coming future.
More specifically, the stable firmware for the Galaxy A36 has been identified with the version number A366BXXU4BYI7, and according to the changelog, it carries a massive installation package size, which significantly suggests that the latest update is full of various key elements that are topped off with the excellence of Android 16, taking the entire user experience to the next level.

At the same time, the update further brings new UI enhancements, alongside adding new features and upgrades to the Galaxy AI suite, camera, improved health features, productivity, security, and accessibility. The update refined the overall software experience that efficiently allows users to discover new ways to connect, create, and protect their data, enjoying a more seamless and personalized experience.
Further, the latest stable firmware also integrates the September 2025 security patch in order to improve the device’s overall security to provide a more secure user experience, while also protecting the device against potential risks.
