Google may be testing Maps’ redesign on Android Auto for the second time

Google is considering redesigning Google Maps’ interface on Android Auto since early this year; meanwhile, a new report suggests that the company has started working on the same again!
However, earlier, most of the Android Auto users got annoyed as they didn’t like the fresh redesign of Google Maps, where the entire screen, not just takes up the center part of the display, but also the destination menu covers the entire view of the route, overlapping the Maps.
Meanwhile, Google Maps’ redesign is back in the headlines for the second time. Basically, according to a fresh report via a Reddit user, it appears that Google is perhaps planning to test the previous center-aligned behavior of Google Maps on Android Auto screens. At the same time, the user further added that the centering of the Maps even continues to work while the navigation is underway.

However, this behavior is not still; it comes and disappears, but the center-alignment can be brought back manually by tapping on the Re-center button on the Maps’ screen.
This might sound interesting, but, in practical terms, the center alignment of the Maps is very annoying for the users, as its UI is creating a barrier in the view of the map, while thankfully, Google has been testing the centered Android Auto’s Maps UI without overlapping the entire view.
Well, Google seems to be internally working on Android Auto’s redesigned UI for Google Maps; nevertheless, users may see the changes that could be more useful and interact with the upcoming updates, though.
