Samsung is gearing up for the next-generation Galaxy S26 series, which is now reported to launch in February 2026, defying rumors from last March’s launch.
Under the hood, the Korean tech giant is actively working on its flagship Galaxy S26 series, which is highly anticipated to include at least three models, as mentioned below –
- Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, and Galaxy S26 Ultra
Meanwhile, the company is also working on a new device codenamed “More Slim,” which is expected to be commercialized as Galaxy S26 Edge; however, it’s not officially revealed yet.
According to previous reports, Samsung was expected to delay the Galaxy S26 series launch to March 2026; although it’s not the real case anymore, as a new report is suggesting a new launch timeline.
A new report from MoneyToday claims that the company could announce the Galaxy S26 series on 25 February 2026 at the Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event, which is expected to take place in San Francisco. If this happened, this would be Samsung’s first return to San Francisco for a Galaxy S series launch since the Galaxy S23 series launch.
However, Samsung has yet to release any official statement regarding the Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event timeline; it remains to be seen whether this rumored timeline will come true.
