One UI 8 Watch Beta 5 rolls out for the Galaxy Watch 6; the next stop could be a stable release!

Samsung is continuously working on making its latest Wear OS 6-based One UI 8 Watch more optimized for the entire Galaxy Watch community.

​Meanwhile, the company has just started providing the latest software update, the One UI 8 Watch Beta 5 for the Galaxy Watch 6 series owners, after a gap of a week.

​Well, it’s been a while that the Galaxy Watch 6 series has been testing the One UI 8 Watch Beta builds, and now, after releasing four beta builds, Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 8 Watch Beta 5 for the Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 owners, carrying the ZYK2 version number, the update (via Samsung Community) is currently available in South Korea, and is expected to expand across the country over the coming weeks.

​Specifically, the latest Wear OS 6-based One UI 8 Watch Beta 5 for the Galaxy Watch 6 Series; however, it doesn’t bring any major features or changes, but it significantly adds a few essential fixes and improvements, where the newest build brings several improvements for the wearables’ performance issues for smoother functionality.

​At the same time, the update further improves the issue, where the time is being displayed incorrectly when the user is setting DST.

​Well, Samsung is already rolling out the One UI 8 Watch, which is running in the beta channel for the Galaxy Watch 6 series owners for quite some time now, and now the company has already started the distribution of beta 5 and hopefully, this could perhaps be the last beta channel and the next stop could be the stable One UI 8 Watch version!
