Samsung is keeping its update momentum going. After pushing the February 2026 security patch to the Galaxy S25 series and then the newer Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7, the company has now started rolling it out to their predecessors, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6.
The update is currently live in South Korea, carrying firmware versions F956NKSS3CZB2 for the Fold 6 and F741NKSS3CZB2 for the Flip 6. It patches 37 security vulnerabilities found in the previous software build, which is a fairly substantial fix list for a monthly update.

If you’re outside Korea, you likely won’t be waiting long. Samsung typically follows its domestic rollout with international availability within a few days. To check whether it’s reached your device, head to Settings, then Software Update, and tap Download and Install.
There’s broader context worth noting here. Samsung is expected to unveil One UI 8.5 tomorrow at its Galaxy Unpacked event, where the Galaxy S26 series is set to debut. Both the Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 are on the eligibility list for that update, so owners of these devices have something more significant to look forward to beyond routine security patches. The company is currently beta testing One UI 8.5 on the S25 series, and the feature set has already been detailed publicly.
For now, installing the February patch is straightforward and worth doing promptly given the number of vulnerabilities it addresses.
