Galaxy Watch Ultra

Samsung is setting up to expand its wearable smartwatch family by introducing a next-gen watch named the Galaxy Watch Ultra. The new renders are eyeing the upcoming Galaxy smartwatch and unveiling more about the watch.

Galaxy Watch Ultra’s Latest Renders

The render images of the forthcoming Galaxy Watch have already been leaked. To increase the enthusiasm among fans, new renders are blowing into the market. This time, the giant designed the upcoming Galaxy Watch Ultra with a decent design and gave it a modern look. It seems that the brand has managed to give the watch a squarish look while maintaining the beloved circular design language of the Galaxy Watch series.

The new render images hint that the watch will arrive in two color variants: silver and black. This time, a new button joined the house of two previous buttons placed on the side of the watch. The new button appears in an orange color, similar to the Apple Watch Ultras.

The screen size of the upcoming Galaxy Watch Ultra appears to be the same as that of its predecessor, the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. The dimensional measurement of the current Galaxy Watch 6 Classic is 46.5 x 46.5 x 10.9 mm, whereas the Watch Ultra measures 47 x 47.4 x 16.4 mm. Noticeably, the Watch Ulta is a bit thicker. Apart from this, the brand will offer a titanium case for this anticipated watch.

Samsung will launch this watch at the next Galaxy Unpacked event on July 10th. Apart from the watch, the brand will also introduce the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Ring

This was the first beta update spotted in South Korea and the US. The update is spotted getting some new features. However, when it was installed by some users, it appeared that some problems started arising.

According to the information, several users have reported that the update has brought problems to the watch face, which repeatedly causes the sudden boot. Samsung brings new updates for wallets that allow users to do financial-related transactions easily. The company initially introduced the wallet service to smartphones and tablets, but the application has now arrived for WearOS as well. Now, to make it more optimized and compatible, the company has started rolling out new updates for the device.

Samsung Wallet (WearOS) update

Samsung has rolled out a new update for the wallet designed for the wearOS; it is coming with version number 5.1.70.21006. With the latest update, the company hasn’t attached any specific changes to the changelog; it only says “service enhancement,” which indicates that users will get some new enhancements to the workings of the application.

If you want to install the latest update, you can do that by going to the Galaxy store. If you are using the Bluetooth variant, then you can install the update via a connected smartphone.

Samsung Wallet is an official app from a Korean giant that provides different services related to passes, royalty cards, and many more. The Samsung Watch app is available to Samsung smartphone owners with Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 and later models. Meanwhile, Samsung Watch 5 or earlier model users and those who are using non-Samsung smartphone devices can use the Samsung Pay plugin.

Countable days are left for Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event, which will take place in Parin on July 10. Samsung is about to debut its next-generation Galaxy Watch 7 at the event. Before the official launch, here are a few confirmations for the upcoming watch’s specs.

The upcoming Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra have been part of the leaks and rumors for so long. Now the new report reveals some small confirmations regarding the Galaxy Watch 7, which was spotted on Amazon Canada. Reportedly, the upcoming Galaxy Watch 7 showed up on Amazon Canada, confirming some previously leaked specs. The measurements of the watch are confirmed as 40mm and 44mm. The brand has built the watch with a tough Armor Aluminum 2 casing coupled with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal display.

The brand has enhanced its durability by adding an extra layer of protection with IP68 water resistance, MIL-STD-810H certification, and 5 ATM water resistance. The identification of the device on the well-known e-commerce site provides us with a confirmation regarding the chipset chosen by Samsung, although it is not explicitly mentioned that it will use an Exynos processor.

There’s only one change spotted as compared to a previously leaked report, which is regarding the memory package. Previously, it was said that the Galaxy Watch 7 could have 32 GB of internal memory, but now the new report suggests that it will feature 128 GB of internal storage. Apart from this, the watch will feature basic convenient functionality such as tacking, an alarm clock, contactless payments, and BioActiveSensor2 for enhancing the health monitoring feature.

Samsung has already announced that it will bring AI-powered features to the watch. The Galaxy Watch 7 will bring AI-powered sleep functions, exercise routines that will offer personalized guidance or optimization, and communication for potentially smart replies or voice assistant features.

The report suggests that, based on the Amazon Canada listing, the Galaxy Watch 7 will officially release on July 16. The 40mm Bluetooth variant of the watch will cost $358.55 Canadian. The brand will offer three color options, including Marbal Grey, Cream White, and Forest Green.
