Samsung Galaxy Ring US Sale Details Disclosed by California Court
The wait is over. Finally, Samsung unfolds when the awaiting Galaxy Ring will go on sale in the US.
The Korean giant is all set to open up a new series of smart wearable gadgets named Galaxy Ring, which will take the floor at the next Galaxy Unpacked event in July. The confirmation of when the Galaxy Ring will go on sale in the United States and the rest of the global markets has come from a rather unusual place, where the giant has mentioned the expected timeline for the device’s release.
It has already been reported that Samsung has filed a legal lawsuit against Oura to avoid any future challenges from the smart ring manufacturer over supposed patent infringement by the Galaxy Ring. The brand has mentioned in its lawsuit that it will begin mass production of the Galaxy Ring by mid-June 2024.
It distantly mentioned that “Samsung will be selling the Galaxy Ring in the United States in or around August of this year.” This timeline makes sense, as Samsung is slated to officially debut the Galaxy Ring at its launch event on July 10 in Paris, France. This hints that the pre-order period could be up to four weeks before customers ultimately get the Galaxy Ring on their finger.
However, Samsung has yet to unveil the price for the forthcoming Galaxy Ring, but if the reports are believed, it could cost between $300 and $350 in the US. As per the convenience of customers in figuring out the correct ring size before they order the device, the giant has also developed an intelligent way, making the process quite easier for those who may be buying a smart ring for the first time.
