Samsung A52 was launched in early 2021, having two variants for spectrum, namely A52 4G & A52 5G. The Galaxy A52 4G comes bundled with One UI 3.0 with Android and received a major update of OneUI 4.0 and Android 12 early this year.
OneUI 3.0 to 4.0 with Android 12 was a major update, but it continues to get regular updates, and security patches are expected for the next 2 years. Samsung provides updates and support for 4 years and, for some models, even 5 years if not limited by hardware capabilities and Samsung’s software distribution policy.
The 4G model Galaxy A52 has received an update for June 2022. This latest OTA was released in Russia. The update bears the build no. A525FXXS4BVE1 is for June 2022 and has a download size of 869.74 MB. Users also started posting screenshots on the Samsung community.

Samsung Mobile is releasing a maintenance release for major flagship models as part of the monthly Security Maintenance Release (SMR) process. This SMR package includes patches from Google and Samsung. It fixes dozens of security issues and possible privacy risks.
