Today we are informing you about Samsung Galaxy Devices, which are eligible for the next UI and OS updates.
Software updates are like maintenance and tune-ups for your phone or tablet. They keep things running smoothly & also help improve the user interface, enhance security, and remove minor bugs and glitches. It is recommended to update the software whenever a new version is available so users can make sure the device performs well.
Below are the eligible devices and the expected dates on which these devices will get the One UI 4 bundled with the Android 12 OS update:
|Galaxy Tab A7||June||2022|
|Galaxy Tab A7 Lite||June||2022|
According to Samsung, the Update schedule and eligible models could be changed.
Samsung announced in February 2022 that many Galaxy devices would be eligible for four years of Android updates, including tablets, flagships, foldable phones, cheaper Galaxy A series phones, and Galaxy Watch models.
The company declared it would provide three years of Android updates to all flagships from 2019 and later. Samsung has promised a 4-year upgrade policy for devices released in or after 2019 will get four years of security updates.
It is expected that users could get Android 13-based One UI 5 Beta for the latest flagship, the Galaxy S22 series, by the end of next month. This means other eligible devices are also expected to get the update within a few months of this release.
Be sure to check your device in the table and turn on the update notification.
