The fact that all of Samsung’s flagship smartphones have already received the most recent Android security patch is solid evidence that the Korean company keeps to its commitment to update all of its mobile devices, high-end and mid-range alike with it.

Thus, after having already released the Android update of September 2022 on the international variant of Galaxy Z Flip 3 and S21 FE, the Korean giant is now deploying this update for the carrier-locked model of both devices in the United States.

As confirmed by SamMobile, Samsung has begun to release the Android update of September 2022 on the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy S21 FE in the US on Comcast and Xfinity Mobile networks. This update comes with the firmware versions F711USQS3DVHD and G990USQS4CVI1 and, as usual with each new Android update, includes the current month’s security patch, which fixes more than 24 vulnerabilities related to privacy and security, fixes general errors, and improves the overall stability of the device.

If you have a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 or S21 FE and you want to check if you already have this update available, you simply have to go to the Software Update section in the Settings menu of your device.

The One UI 6.1 feature will provide several new changes for the Galaxy devices; however, the update will not bring any Galaxy AI features, but it will provide a bunch of new features that will elevate the user experience. According to the official changelog, the latest update for the Galaxy A15 5G will get several new enhancements like battery protection, a clock, a gallery, a mobile network, and many more.
