Galaxy Tab S6 Gets October 2022 Security Update

The Galaxy Tab S6, Samsung’s tablet, is the first in the category to receive the October 2022 security update and joins smartphones such as the Galaxy Fold 4/Flip4, which can also be updated.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 received the October security patch, and the update is now available for download in several countries. The firmware version this time is T865XXU5DVJ1 in countries like Asia and Australia. However, the T865XXU5DVH2 is for those living in Germany waiting for the update to arrive on their device.

The South Korean giant carried around 50 fixes to the two folding smartphones. Similar things occur with Galaxy Tab S6, which will provide roughly 47 security vulnerability fixes as its feature. The tablet originally launched with Android 9 but now runs version 12 of Android with One UI 4.

Users who reside in Malaysia, Singapore, Singapore, Australia, and Germany can, therefore, already update the tablet that the manufacturer issued in 2019. Last but not least, there is a slim chance that your product will receive Android 13 even if it has a recent software version.
