Android 13 arrived in the US For Galaxy Z Flip 4G and 5G carrier-locked users

Samsung is now beating its own schedule and rolling out Android 13 updates to various Galaxy devices earlier than predicted. Now it is happening the same with Galaxy Z Flip and Z Flip 5G, as they are predicted to get an Android 13 update next month, i.e., December, but the Korean giant has distributed the update earlier than expected.

As the US smartphone market is split into two categories, locked phones, and unlocked phones, Most of the time, the update comes late for the carrier-locked variant phones, but this time the Android 13 update is initially available on Sprint mobile network and following that T-Mobile has also released the same update on its network.

Users who are using Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy Z Flip 5G devices can identify the latest Android 13 & One UI 5.0 update by checking the firmware version numbers F700USQU5HVK5 and F707USQU3GVK3, respectively. The update also brings a new November 2022 security update.

The latest major update comes with One UI 5.0 based on Android 13, which brings a lot of new features to Samsung devices, including several lock screen personalization options as well as added some new functions in the existing app’s settings that increase the utility of them like stacked widget, RAM Plus, text extract and so on.
