From the starting week of December, Samsung has started distributing the December 2022 security firmware updates to its several galaxy devices. The company initially served this update to the Galaxy S20 series. After that, the Korean giant continuously distributes the update to other devices. Now the company is rolling out the same update for Galaxy Tab S6 lite.
Users who own the Galaxy Tab S6 lite can identify the latest software update by its build number P615XXS4EVL1. Currently, December 2022 is available in Brazil. According to information, the Galaxy Tab S6 lite is listed under the quarterly security updates category, meaning the device is eligible for grabbing four security updates in a year.
As per the information, the December 2022 security update includes over 90 fixes which improve the overall performance and stability of the device; the update may also bring reliability features which optimize your device system to support the recent Android 13 update.
Galaxy Tab S6 Lite was launched in 2020 and came with Android 10 on board and recently updated to Android 13 in some regions. However, the device is no longer eligible for further Android updates in the future, but it should get more security updates in the coming days.
