Samsung has rolled out a new update for its most affordable A series smartphone, Galaxy A10. The device is now receiving its first update in the form of a January 2023 security patch as a new year’s gift. Earlier, this phone had received October 2022 as last year’s update.
According to the information, the Korean giant is currently serving the January 2023 update in American markets and will be available for the other regions soon. The build number A105MUBS8CVL1 can identify the update. The update doesn’t bring any new features but comes with bug fixes and system-level enhancements.
The January 2023 security patch update is a regular monthly update that Google releases for Android smartphones, but if we talk about Galaxy devices, Samsung has also added some more security patches with Google, which are exclusively available for its devices.
Moreover, the update is a minor security update; the Korean giant has released the update to maintain the security of the devices and optimize them, so they work smoothly.
The Galaxy A10 was launched in 2019 and introduced as the most affordable phone in the Galaxy A series lineup. The device has received two major updates after being introduced in the market, and it has ended its major update journey with Android 11. Still, Samsung has continued to push new security updates, and as the device is eligible for the biannual security update, so the device will surely have one more update this year.
