Verizon US released first update of January 2023 with bug fixes for Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3
The Galaxy Fold 3 and Flip 3 devices have already received the December 2022 security update on Verizon’s network in the United States, it was the same update that had rolled out for the Galaxy devices, but the carrier-locked variant devices are causing some issues with this update. Samsung is rolling out a new update on Verizon’s network to encounter the issue.
According to the official Verizon page, the update is defined as a regular security update, but as it is rolling out a second time, it may carry some additional changes and improvements. Users who own the Carrier locked variants of Galaxy Z Fold 3, and Galaxy Z Flip 3 can identify the latest update by the build number F711USQU3EVL9 and F926USQU2EVL9, respectively.
In any case, if you didn’t face any issues after installing the earlier update on your Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 device, you should also download the new update, so you don’t get into any trouble in the future.

These devices are counted as one of the best flagship devices of Samsung; that‘s why the company always gives them priority regarding software updates. Going to the past timelines of the update, Galaxy Fold 3 and Galaxy Flip 3 devices have already received the latest Android 13 update.
Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 were introduced by Samsung back in 2021 and come with Android 11 on board. However, the devices were released before the latest policy by Samsung, so that they may be limited to Android 14. While on the other hand, they should get further security updates in the future.
Samsung has recently introduced a new software update for multiple devices; however, initially it was spotted on the high-end devices belonging to the Galaxy S series and Galaxy Z series. Now, with the latest development, the company has started rolling out the update to several Galaxy A series devices.
According to the information, Samsung has made a significant software update live for the Galaxy A55, Galaxy A35, Galaxy A54, Galaxy A34, Galaxy A25, Galaxy A15 5G, and A15 4G. It is worth noting that the update has been detected in the European region and is expected to be limited to that only.
According to the latest update, the device will now support the 4G TDD band. However, Samsung has not provided any details about how this feature will benefit Galaxy device users. Based on my observations, it appears that the update will enhance stability and speed on the 4G network.

The company has stated that devices purchased in Germany and used in other countries, such as Belgium, Denmark, Germany, France, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic, will not function in the 4G TDD band.
If you are using any of the above-mentioned smartphones in Europe, then you should start getting new updates. To install them on your device, simply go to the software update menu via the system settings, wait for the update, and then hide the download button that appears.
Samsung’s flagship device, the Galaxy S24, boasts all-new high-end hardware and software functionalities, but it still has some flaws, particularly in the camera department.
To improve the camera functionality, it has already introduced some updates, such as the April 2024 security patch update, which introduced many fixes and improvements. Now the company is planning to introduce one camera enhancement update.
Previously, the camera enhancement was supposed to be available with the May 2024 security patch update, but now, according to a popular tipter, @universeice, it is delayed and could be available for users in June.
However, there is no reason for the delay. Samsung might prefer to concentrate on rolling out the One UI 6.1 update to all eligible devices in May.
As of now, there is no information available about what will come with the camera enhancement update. Along with this, it may also include some new features that will improve the overall performance and security of the devices.
Usually, Samsung Galaxy devices are always ahead in getting new updates, but when it comes to the Google system update, there is no assurance when the latest update will come for the devices. This happens due to Google’s server limitations. For instance, the Galaxy S24 has received the January 2024 system update lately, but now Google is back on track and has started rolling out the April 2024 system update on ideal timing.
