Samsung Galaxy A72 receives first security update after One UI 5.0

Samsung is now pushing the January 2023 update for Galaxy A72; the company is rolling out this security update just after updating the device with Android 13. As per the information, the last firmware update includes November 2022 security with it and now directly jumped to January 2023, while the Brazillian variant has received the December 2022 security patch update.

Right now, the update is rolling out in Russia, and it is expected to expand to other countries soon. Users can identify the latest update by the build version A725FXXU4CWA2. As per the changelog, the update doesn’t include any additional features except January 2023 security patch update.

January 2023 update improves stability

The January 2023 update is a general update that deals with the security of the device; it is a monthly maintenance update that fixes the software issues which Galaxy device users often report. As the name suggests, the update also resolves the problems which can be dangerous for your device security. The update mainly focussed on security, but it also fixed some bugs that enhanced the performance and stability of the device.
