Samsung is back again with January 2023 security update. This time company is rolling out the update for the Galaxy S22 series devices in Australia. However, the device has already received the same update in various regions, including Brazil, the US and Europe.
It is also worth noting that the Korean giant has released the second update under the January 2023 update. However, now the company is present with the first update for the Australian region, users can identify the latest update by the firmware version number S901EXXS2BWA2, S906EXXS2BWA2, and S908EXXS2BWA2 for Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra respectively.
As said earlier, the update brings the January 2023 security patch, which fixes several security vulnerabilities. The security update is a regular monthly update that Google releases for Android smartphones, but if we talk about Galaxy devices, Samsung has added some more security patches with Google, which are exclusively available for its devices.
Moreover, the update doesn’t include any new features; it’s only focused on enhancing the security of the device. It may also carry some minor features that enhance the performance and stability of the device.
