Finally, Galaxy S20 FE 5G’ unlocked model getting Android 13 (One UI 5.0) in the US
Earlier today, Samsung released the One UI 5.0 update based on Android 13 to the locked variant of the Galaxy S20 FE 5G smartphone. Now, the company is again rolling out the same update for its unlocked variant. It is quite surprising that an update is available for both variants at the same time.
Notably, the update is now rolling out for the unlocked variant with version number G781U1UEU9FWA7; the One UI 5.0 update also comes with January 2023 security patch update. As of now, the update is spotted on the T-Mobile, Sprint, MetroPCS, AT&T, Verizon, Xinfinty Mobiles, and Comcast networks in the US.
As per the last timelines of past updates, Samsung has always distributed new updates lately to the FE version of S series devices. However, there is no specific reason defined by Samsung for it and due to this the devices always get discriminated against and many times receive the one-month older updates at the of a new one.

As per the official changelog of Android 13(One UI 5.0), the update includes some improvements to the UI design, which makes it smoother as well as faster than before; the update brings some new features that add more utility to the device. April 2024 update is live now for South Korean units of Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5
Samsung has already introduced the April 2024 security patch update to several units of Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 devices. Earlier, these devices had already grabbed the update in several regions, including the US, and now both of the foldables have started getting the latest security patch update in South Korea.

Samsung brings the LTE TDD band support for these Galaxy devices in Europe via software update
Samsung has rolled out the second April 2024 update, which provides support for the new LTE TDD band. Several devices, including the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S23, Galaxy S22, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy S23 FE, and Galaxy A54, have spotted the update in Europe as of writing. As per the changelog, it seems that the new feature, the 4G LTE TDD band, may be exclusively available for the European region.
