Galaxy S23 Series official pre-order posters leaked: Samsung care+, double storage, and more

What more to expect from the Galaxy Unpacked Event 2023?

The main focus of the Galaxy Unpacked Event 2023 is indeed all three devices of the next flagship Galaxy S23 (Galaxy S23, S23+, and the top of the line S23 Ultra), but it doesn’t mean that is it for the event. Apart from the series, there are numerous other components that will steal your sight with their glaze. Let us tell you that the other things that may be waiting for us in the event are mentioned below.

Samsung One UI 5.1 Skin

Like the S23 series, the Unpacked event is where the One UI 5.1 will also debut. Notably, it will be launched with the Galaxy S23 series itself. For those who are unaware, the One UI 5.1 is based on Android 13 and is being introduced as the successor to the most-latest One UI 5.0. This update will also have similar customization properties as its predecessor but improved. You can find additional information related to it here.

Galaxy Book 3 Lineup

Some rumors are spreading around the internet that suggests that the South Korean firm is expected to unveil its next Galaxy Book 3 lineup in the Galaxy Unpacked event. Notably, if this is true, then we will get to see all three devices of this series- the Galaxy Book 3, Galaxy Book 3 Pro, and Galaxy Book3 Pro 360, Galaxy Book3 Ultra. Informatively, the Galaxy Book is the premium laptop lineup of Samsung. If you know more about it, tap here

Galaxy Tab S9 Series

As per some reports, Samsung is planning to unwrap its new premium tablet, the Galaxy Tab S9, along with the latest Galaxy S series smartphone, as it usually does. It is assumed that this new tablet will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC in it. It is also rumored that the company has improved its camera quality this time, which will be a major change of it. Additionally, this Tab S model will also get the S Pen support, as its predecessors do. However, its launch isn’t officially confirmed yet by the company.

Galaxy Buds2 and Buds2 Live

It is expected that Samsung will update the Galaxy Buds2 and Galaxy Buds2 Live in this event. It is rumored that the company is planning to introduce the next-generation models of the Galaxy Buds lineup in the same. Unfortunately, we are unable to find any other information regarding them; the only clues that we have received are all we have mentioned above.

Nota bene, undoubtedly, the Galaxy Unpacked Event 2023 is being held in person, but for those, who aren’t able to attend it physically, the company will stream it live on its official sites and channels. The Korean brand ‘Samsung’ is not just leading the tech industry but also sponsoring the Olympics and Paralympics. Now, it is shaking hands with surfing, skateboarding, and breaking leagues to promote these sports as well as their communities on the road to the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Earlier this year, the official theme Samsung announced for the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024 was ‘Open always wins’. This theme pretends that Samsung values open-mindedness and new experiences. The giants believe that surfing, skateboarding, and breaking are all important aspects of this theme, and they plan to support these sports as well as their communities.

Stephanie Choi, EVP and Head of Marketing for Mobile Experience Business at Samsung Electronics, stated that “an “open mindset to try new things, the determination to push the limits of what’s possible, and a culture of inclusivity that embraces everyone lie at the heart of each sport. These attributes are something we at Samsung are also passionate about, and we are honored to support these three organizations and their athletes and recognize their communities—nnot only as the countdown to Paris 2024 continues, but as they work to open their sports to the world every day.”

Samsung will engage WSL, SLS, and PBT athletes and fan bases at key events on the Road to the Games. On behalf of this new collaboration, Samsung will introduce a new initiative next month that will showcase the legendary athletes and unique cultures of surfing, skateboarding, and breaking communities.

It is expected that more detailed information regarding this new collaboration, community initiative, and partnership activities will come soon in the coming weeks.

The Korean brand ‘Samsung’ recently introduced its mid-range smartphone, the Galaxy A55, which is powered by the Exynos 1480 chipset. Let’s take a closer look at this chipset.

Initially, Samsung did not announce the name of the chipset, but now it appears that the giants are now setting up to formally announce their latest mid-range Exynos chipset. The fans eagerly wanted to know the key details of the Exynos 1480 mid-range chipset. So here we are mentioning the key details of the chipset:

Samsung Foundry’s 4nm (4LPP+) process node powers the newest Exynos 1480, a significant upgrade over the 5nm Exynos 1380 chip from last year. This chipset includes:

  • Four ARM Cortex-A78 CPU cores clocked at 2.75GHz
  • Four ARM Cortex-A55 CPU cores clocked at 2GHz

The Korean giants stated that this new Exynos chip is 22% more power-efficient than its predecessor. Also, this chipset is suitable for LPDDR4x/LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

The Exynos 1480 is the first mid-range chipset of the Exynos family, which is an AMD RDNA-based Xclipse 530 GPU. This will enhance the experience by delivering a seamless Full HD+ resolution display at a refresh rate of 144 Hz. Apart from this, if the reports are to be believed, this GPU uses AMD’s RDNA 2 technique.

The brand also assures on its website that it uses the latest RDNA technique, named RDNA 3. Samsung also claimed that the Exynos 1480 will deliver 53% faster GPU performance as compared to the Exynos 1380. It has some advanced gaming features, such as variable rate shading (VRS) and super resolution (frame upscaling).

The ISP, which stands for Image Signal Processor, supports at least 200 MP camera sensors, and it has the power to process frames from two camera sensors that are 32 MP + 32 MP together along with zero shutter lag or one 64 MP camera sensor with zero shutter lag and HDR. It has the power to record 4K 60fps videos. The built-in AI Engine (NPU) has 4x faster on-device AI performance as compared to its predecessor. This has fabricated a 5G model with mmWave and sub-6GHz network compatibility. The rest of the connectivity features of the Exynos 1480 include GNSS (BeiDou, Galileo, GLONASS, and GPS), Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.

Samsung Admits Google’s Feature Tops Galaxy AI

Samsung Praises Google’s Circle to Search for AI-Powered Features. Samsung debuted this feature on its Galaxy S24 flagship series back in 2024, which is grabbing more publicity.

Samsung introduced ‘Galaxy AI’, a bundle of AI-generated features on the Galaxy S24 series initially, and now it’s already started making them available to more Galaxy flagship devices from 2023 through the latest One UI 6.1 update.

Samsung’s Galaxy AI includes various features, including Circle to Search, Live Translate, Transcript Assist, Call Assist, Note Assist, AI-powered editing tools, and many more. Among all of them, the Circle to Search feature is the one that is gaining the most popularity on the Galaxy S24 smartphone.

The fact is that the Korean giants are not even responsible for their’most  popular’ Circle to Search feature, which is the most popular among all AI-powered ones since it is a feature with Google, which means that Google is responsible and deserves praise, and regarding this, Samsung stated that:

“Circle to Search with Google revolutionized the way users search, helping it become the most widely used AI feature amongst Galaxy S24 users. It allows them to learn more about almost anything on their screens quickly with a simple gesture, without having to switch apps.”

Before Samsung, Google already introduced this Circle to Search feature on its Pixel 8 series and Pixel 7 series smartphones in a similar style as it is available on the Galaxy S24 series.

The only fact is that Samsung hugely advertises this feature, whereas Google appears quite a bit into advertising this Circle to Search feature.
