Verizon brings Android 13 (One UI 5.0) update for Galaxy Tab A7 Lite in the USA

Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite back in 2021, and the device came with Android 11 preinstalled; later, it grabbed Android 12. Now the device is receiving its second major Android update in the form of One UI 5.0, which is based on Android 13, as the device has only two years after release, so it is possible that the device will grab one more Android update in the future.

Coming back to the latest update, the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is now receiving the One UI 5.0(Android 13) update in the US. The update is currently rolling out on the Verizon network. Users who own the device can identify the latest update by the firmware version number T227USQU4CVLA. It also includes a new security update in the form of a November 2023 security patch.

Android 13 brings improvements for multitasking

The latest update brings One UI 5.0 based on Android 13. Samsung Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A53 receive June 2024 security patch in the US

Samsung has started rolling out the June 2024 security patch update for the Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A53 devices in the US. These are the initial units of the device that are getting a new update, and it is expected that more units will start getting new updates in the next few days.

Notably, the locked unit of the Galaxy A54 is getting a new update with the firmware version number A546USQS7CXF4. More specifically, the update for the smartphone is spotted on some networks, including T Mobile, MetroPCS, and Dish Wireless. However, it has not yet been released for the unlocked variants. It is expected to be available on more carriers in the next few days.

The Galaxy A53 grabbed the update in the US for both locked and unlocked variants. Users who own the locked variant can identify the latest update by the firmware version number, A536USQSAEXF2. As of now, the update has arrived on several networks, including T-Mobile and Dish Wireless, and is expected to be available in more countries. Meanwhile, the unlocked variant is getting a new update with the firmware version number A536U1UES9EXF2. 

For your information, the June 2024 security patch update for the Galaxy A54 and A53 doesn’t bring any significant features or changes for the devices, but it will provide some enhancements to the working of the devices.

Samsung rolled out June 2024 security patch to the Galaxy A52s and Galaxy A42 in Europe

In the last couple of months, Samsung hasn’t followed its traditional strategy to distribute the security patch to eligible devices rapidly because of the arrival of some significant updates, such as One UI 6.1. But now, with the June 2024 security path, the company is back on track to provide the update to most of the devices. Now the update has started reaching older devices, including the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A42.

Samsung has rolled out the June 2024 security patch update for the Galaxy A52s and Galaxy A42 smartphones with the firmware version numbers A528BXXS8GXEA and A426BXXS7DXF1, respectively. Don’t be too excited, as the update will not provide any significant changes for the device, but it will bring improvements to the security of the devices.

The June 2024 security patch is the latest firmware, which will enhance the overall security of the devices. Samsung brings One UI 6.1 to Galaxy A25 in South Korea

Earlier this week, Samsung introduced the One UI 6.1 update in the US. Now,  with the latest development, the company has started expanding the update to more countries, including South Korea. It is expected to be available to more units present in different regions in the next few days.
