Samsung joins hands with Naver Pay to enhance mobile payment experience

Samsung has a broad lineup of applications, one of which is Samsung Pay. If you don’t know, Samsung Pay is a mobile payment and digital wallet service of Samsung, with which users can easily make payments online. Recently, Samsung and Naver Financial’s collaboration has been announced, which will surely make mobile payment easy and enhance the online payment experience of the user. 

Informatively, both of the companies signed a business agreement on February 20th, 2023, at Naver 1784 office building in Seongnam City, Gyeonggi Province (as per the official article of Samsung Newsroom). Both of them will work together to make our digital life more convenient. To make it possible, Samsung and Naver are both working quickly so that the service will come to the eligible devices by the first half of this year. 

Let us inform you as a result of this collaboration, Samsung Pay users will be able to make simple payments to 550,000 Naver Smart Store and Naver Pay online order merchants. It will also strengthen Naver Pay users’ offline payment experience. Besides, users can even make Naver Pay’s offline payments via Samsung Pay’s MST payment method at all offline merchants of the whole country where Samsung Pay is accepted. 

In the manner of this collaboration, Jini Han, the Vice President of the digital wallet team at the MX division of Samsung Electronics, has stated, “Through collaboration with Naver Pay, Samsung Pay users can now enjoy a convenient mobile payment experience both offline and online.” He further added, “We will provide a better user experience.”
