Samsung, the South Korean multinational electronics company, has recently announced the One UI 5.1 update rollout for their Galaxy Tab A7 Lite carrier-locked device in the United States. This latest update brings many new features and enhancements to the popular mid-range tablet, including improvements to the user interface and security updates.

However, Galaxy Tab A7 Lite’s Europen units have already received the update, and now the US users can enjoy the latest One UI 5.1 skin. Currently, the update is only available for users on the Verizon network and will soon expand to other carriers as well.

The latest One UI 5.1 update for the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite comes with firmware version T227USQU4CWC2 and includes important security updates. The update addresses potential vulnerabilities and improves the device’s security to the February 2023 patch level, ensuring a safer and more secure experience for users.

According to the Verizon changelog, the update provides One UI 5.1, which includes improvements to various features such as the camera, gallery, wallpaper, widgets, and multitasking. Galaxy Z Flip 5G gets April 2024 security patch in the USA

Samsung has recently introduced the April 2024 security patch to several Galaxy Z Flip 5G devices in several countries,including Australia, Canada, and some European countries. Now the US units of the device are getting the update.

The locked version of the Galaxy Z Fllp 5G is getting an April 2024 security patch update with the firmware version number F707USQS7IXC1. As of writing, the update has been spotted on the Sprint network. Meanwhile, the unlocked units for the device come with the firmware version number F707U1UES7IXC1.

The new update for the April 2024 security patch doesn’t bring any new features, but, being a security update, it will enhance some internal functions and aim to provide some improvements for the update.

For your information, the April 2024 security patch fixes more than 40 fixes; specifically, Google has introduced 27 fixes that will improve Android OS functionalities. Along with this, Samsung has also added 17 fixes that will enhance the functionalities for Galaxy devices exclusively.

If you are using the Galaxy Z Flip 5G in the US, you can now install the latest update. To do that, you just need to go to the software update menu via system settings. The locked variants of the Galaxy Tab S9+ and Galaxy Tab A9+ are getting the April 2024 security patch update with the firmware version numbers X218USQS1BXD1 and X818USQS2BXD2, respectively. The Verizon network has received the update for these devices as of writing.

Samsung sending April 2024 update for the Galaxy Tab S7 Series

After introducing the April 2024 security patch update to flagship device tables, including the Galaxy Tab S9 series and the Galaxy Tab S9 FE series, the company has now started rolling out the update to older tablets, including the Galaxy Tab S7 series.

Notably, the Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7+ are getting the update with the firmware version number DXD1 (last letters). With the latest update, the drive is getting some enhancements for security, which will make the device less vulnerable to external threats.

Going to the details, Google has added 27 patches that will improve the overall security of the Android OS. Along with this, Samsung has also added 17 more patches that exclusively improve Galaxy devices’ functionality.
