Galaxy S21 gets April 2023 update in Europe with 5G capability

Samsung has already begun rolling out the latest security update for its Galaxy S21 series and started with the US last week. The update, which brings several improvements and bug fixes, is now gradually making its way to European users.
The Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra are receiving the Android April 2023 security patch with build numbers G998BXXU7EWCH, G996BXXU7EWCH, or G991BXXU7EWCH. The update is rolling out in select European markets such as Romania, and we expect a wider availability soon.

According to the changelog, it includes the highly anticipated April 2023 patch, as well as support for T-Mobile Romania’s 5G network (Non-Stand Alone). However, the most significant aspect of this update is the more than 60 security flaws that have been addressed, including critical issues associated with Exynos processors and modems.
