Samsung Exynos 2400: Major Specs Leaked

Samsung Semiconductor is working on its next smartphone processor- Exynos 2400, which is reportedly to power the region-specific variant of Samsung’s future Galaxy S24 flagship. Ever since the chipset’s name merged with the future Galaxy S24 series, we started to see it on the internet regularly. Asides from all the minor specs we have found so far, this time, we got our hands on some very crucial specifications.

Recently, the popular Leak Star Revegnus shared a screenshot on his Twitter handle, in which we can see the specifications of the upcoming Exynos 2400 SoC. With this screenshot, we can say that previously found rumors were almost true. Notably, the Exynos 2400 chipset will be a deca-core processor developed with Samsung’s 4nm (SF4P) process technology. Now, let’s know a little about its GPU and CPU cores. 

Informatively, the processor will feature Samsung’s Xclipse 940 GPU, based on AMD’s RDNA2 architecture. The GPU will be boasted 6WGP, 12CUs, 768SP, 48TMUs, and 32ROPs. Besides the GPU, this chipset contains a total of 10 CPU cores, including a 3.1GHz ARMv9 Cortex-X4 core, two 2.9GHz ARMv9 Cortex-A720 cores, three 2.6GHz ARMv9 Cortex-A720 cores, and four 1.8GHz ARMv9 Cortex-A520 cores.

Let us tell you a little more about this processor; it supports USF 4.0 storage chip, 8.5Gbps LPDDR5X memory with 68.26GB per second bandwidth, up to 320MP image signal processor (ISP), and up to 8K video recording at 60fps shooting. It uses NPU and DSP both for AI performance. Unfortunately, there is not a single clue in this screenshot that refers to the future Galaxy S24 series, which sure will use this Exynos processor

Besides all of these, some other information related to this upcoming Samsung chipset is listed below.
