Samsung Galaxy A53 5G receiving May 2023 security update with improvements in the USA
Samsung is doing appreciative work in terms of software updates. In the last few months, the company has timely updated its device with new software updates, whether the updates are related to UI or monthly security updates. Now with this month company has rolled out the security update to most of the devices already, and continuing it, more devices are joining the update.
The May 2023 security update is now available for Galaxy A53 5G in the US. The update is rolling out for the unlocked and carrier-locked variants of Galaxy A53 5G. The Unlocked model can identify the update by its firmware version number A536U1UES5CWE1 and A536USQS5CWD4 for carrier-locked (Dish Wireless). The Galaxy A53 5G device is one of those devices that have already grabbed the Image Clipper feature in the last security update.
The May 2023 security update is a monthly security update that Google pushes for all eligible devices; in between, different brands modify the update and add some more functionalities for their devices. As far as Samsung is concerned, the company always adds some extra enhancements for the security of the devices, and sometimes it also introduces some new features with it.
Samsung Galaxy A53 is the first A series phone to get the Image Clipper feature
The Galaxy A53 5G came on the market last year. Samsung has introduced this device as a new midrange device that offers the latest Exynos processor based on 5NM. The device came with a Quad camera with a 64 MP main camera, 12MP ultra-wide camera, and two 5MP cameras for depth recognizing and micro photography.
Apart from these, the device is also worthy of getting continuous software updates; there is no confirmation available from Samsung’s side about how many Android updates will be available for the device. We hope that the company will provide at least three major updates for the device.
