Earlier, Samsung rolled out the May 2023 security patch for the flagship Galaxy Tab series, including Galaxy Tab S8 and Galaxy Tab S7. Now the Fan Edition device is also getting the update. While in Brazil, the device is getting the update with a different version number T735XXU3CWE1.
Meanwhile, The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite has also been getting the update in Europe. The original Galaxy S6 Lite and refreshed model of Galaxy S6 Lite(2022) are both getting May 2023 security updates with version numbers P615XXS5FWD2 and P619XXS3BWE3, respectively.
The latest update includes the May 2023 security patch; as usual, the update doesn’t bring any innovations for the device. However, being a security update, it comes with some bug fixes that aim to strengthen the security of the device.
