Samsung Galaxy S21 is available in three models, including the Galaxy S21 base, Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra; these devices belong to the flagship segment, but if you closely look at the update availability, you will get to know Samsung doesn’t treat them equally as other high-end devices, most of the time it has grabbed the update after Galaxy S20 series. However, that was still fine, but now the Galaxy S21 is also getting a problem same as the Galaxy S20 series devices.
Galaxy S21 series facing pink line issue after software update
According to Tarun Vats, several users in India are reporting the Pink line issue on Galaxy S21 devices; as per information, the issue is occurring after updating the device to May 2023 security patch. As the images are circulating, it is clearly seen that the thin pink line appears on the centre of the screen. It is worth noticing that the same issue previously occurred in the Galaxy S20 series devices.

In case you are facing the issue, then you can contact Samsung customer care; the issue appears to be a hardware issue, so it will not be reversed by other software updates, which ultimately means you have to repair your device to Samsung’s official care centres.
Moreover, if your device is out of warranty, then you have to pay the repair cost of the device. According to a Twitter user, he was asked to pay $380. There is no free replacement available for this case. But if you didn’t update your Galaxy S21 device yet, you should wait for the company’s confirmation before it.
