Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 may launch with One UI 5.1.1 and Android 13

The exciting news about the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series has become top news among Android tablet users. This news became more thrilling when several sources revealed that the S9 tablet series adapts Android 13-based One UI 5.1.1 as its software, providing users with a seamless and enhanced interface. Earlier this month, Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, with model number SM-X910, being a member of the S9 series, got its FCC certificate.

Issuing the FCC certificate for an electronic device means that the product has been approved and tested to comply with FCC(Federal Communications Commission) standards. In a Simplified form, it means that the device meets regulated limits for ionizing radiation. Popular Tipster SnoopyTech released a purported screenshot of the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra running on the One UI 5.1.1 software, heightening the expectation.

Samsung will improve Galaxy S22 camera zoom animation to the next update

The screenshot demonstrates how One UI 5.1.1 and One UI 5.0 have a similar look and feel. The Settings app uses the same layout and icon style as before, indicating that there might not be many cosmetic changes.

It is expected that the S9 tablet series will be released next to Samsung’s most anticipated foldable devices, Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, later this July.

The new edition on the list: Samsung is presenting a new gadget designed for kids called the Galaxy Tab A9 Kids Edition.

This time Samsung keeps kids in mind and presents a new tab, especially for kids; however, it is a regular Galaxy Tab A9 along with LTE and a dedicated bundle of features designed for kids just to make the tab secure and more user-friendly for them. Let’s take a closer look at exactly what new novelty the tab has brought.

Due to the advent of the digital age, children are increasingly embracing technology from an early age. Now Samsung has taken an essential step, as it is offering several educational benefits with this new Galaxy Tab A9 Kids Edition since it’s still influential for parents to be able to control screen time and recommend secure and suitable tools.

The Giants are starting this kid’s dedicated tab from Malaysia and offering a bundle of perfectly fine accessories for children; for instance, the drop-proof kids Puffy Case cover, the Crayon Stylus, and a series of stickers. The aim behind designing this tablet is to be a safe and fun platform for children to learn, create, and explore.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 Kids Edition Specs:

Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 Kids Edition features an 8.7-inch 5:3 LCD along with a refresh rate of 60 Hz and an 800 x 1340 resolution. Powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 6 nm SoC, the memory package includes 4GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, which is expandable with microSD up to 1TB.

The camera arrangement of the tab includes an 8MP rear camera with AF and, on the flip side, a 2MP selfie camera. It offers 4G LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, a 3.5 mm audio jack port, a USB Type-C port, and stereo speakers compatible with Dolby Atmos. The battery package includes a 5100 mAh battery along with support for 15W wired charging.

Noticeably, it offers ‘Parental controls’ features so that parents can manage the screen time of their children to maintain a healthy balance between digital and offline activities, plus protect them from accessing age-inappropriate content. This tab permits adults to create special profiles for each child and customize the various settings for each of them; the built-in Samsung Kids application permits users to limit screen time and access particular apps. In short, this tab offers tons of engaging content for children, such as educational games, stories, and many more.

For now, this Galaxy Tab A9 Kids Edition is available in Malaysia, and interested parties can easily purchase it from the country’s Samsung Online Shop for nearly $170 USD or 155 euros.
