Galaxy S20 FE gets June 2023 security update

Samsung is constantly expanding the June 2023 security update; day by day, the update is reaching new devices in several countries, and half a month already passed, so the company has increased the speed of releasing the update. Currently, the company is rolling out the update to the Galaxy S20 FE device.

The update for Galaxy S20FE is now available in different regions of Asia and Europe. For the European regions, the update carries the firmware version G780FXXUCFWE5, while the Asian version of Galaxy S20 FF is getting the update with version G780GXXU5EWE5.

More specifically, The device is getting updated in these Asian countries: Cambodia, Malaysia, Russia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Indonesia. While for the update for Galaxy S20FE is currently available in the UK. It is worth noticing that currently, the update is available for the model number (G780F), and the other SM-G781B device already got the update a few days ago.

The June 2023 security update brings over 60 fixes to cover the loopholes found in the security of the devices. Additionally, it may also carry some improvements for the device so it can run more smoothly and also so get rid of other annoying issues.

The Galaxy S20 FE was launched back in 2020; the device came with Android 10 preinstalled. However, later it received new updates in the form of a new Android 13 like this; it will get more Android updates in the coming years.
