Verizon affiliated Galaxy S22, Z Fold 4, and Z Flip 4 getting June 2023 update in the US

From the initial week of the month, Samsung has started rolling out the June 2023 security update to Galaxy devices. This time Samsung updated the unlocked variant of Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Flip 4 in the US. The gradually expanding the update to other parts of the world, now, the update is again live for Galaxy S22 series devices along with these foldable, but now it is available for the locked variant.

Currently, the update is rolling out on the Verizon network. The June 2023 update for Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra is coming with these firmware versions S901USQU2CWE6, S906USQU2CWE6, and S908USQU2CWE6 respectively. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 are getting the update with the firmware versions F936USQU2CWEM and F721USQU2CWEM, respectively.

The June 2023 security patch doesn’t bring any innovation; it only comes with some fixes that resolve the security-related issues which are found in the internal functions of the devices. According to the information, the latest security patch fixes over 60 vulnerabilities. All these vulnerabilities are included by Google and Samsung.

If you own any of the above devices which are affiliated to Verizon, then you should receive the update notification, then tap on it and go to the software menu. Alternatively, you directly go to the settings and check whether your device got the update or not.
