Samsung Expands June 2023 security update to more countries for Galaxy Fold 4, Fold 3, Note 20, A71 5G and Galaxy S21 FE

Samsung is now expanding the June update to these devices

There are a total of 5 devices that are getting a June 2023 security update; all the devices except Galaxy A71 are already updated in some countries. Let’s take more details of the update.

Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 3  

Samsung has rolled out the June 2023 security update for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 3. The update comes with version numbers F936BXXU3CWE6 and F926BXXU4EWF1, respectively. With the new expansion, the company is now serving the update in the UK, and it is expected that the update may be available for these devices all over Europe in the next few days.

Galaxy S21 FE and Galaxy Note 20 series 

The Galaxy S21 FE is now getting the June 2023 security update in several European countries, including Austria, Croatia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, and the UK. There are two models available for the device, so the update will be available with different version numbers, such as G990BXXU5EWE7 for the SM-G990B version and G990B2XXU4EWE7 for the SM-G990B2 version. 

Meanwhile, Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra are getting the update in Latin American countries. The update will carry a different firmware version, N981BXXU7HWF3, and N986BXXU7HWF3. It is worth noticing that the update will be available for the 5G variant of these devices.

Galaxy A71 5G

The Galaxy A71 is getting its first June update in the Middle Asian country UAE. The latest update comes with the firmware version A716BXXU8FWE1. Samsung has already rolled out the June 2023 security update for some other Galaxy A series devices, including Galaxy A73, Galaxy A72, and Galaxy A52.
