Galaxy M33 5G getting new firmware update after three months

We have now reached the end of the month. But even after consistently updating the Galaxy devices company hasn’t completed the security update cycle; currently, the company has rolled out the June 2023 security update for the Galaxy M33 5G.

The reason behind getting late updates is the eligibility criteria of the devices; notably, the lower frequency update-eligible smartphone, which is listed under the Quarterly or biannual update category, are getting the update late. For your information, the Galaxy M33 5G is listed under Quarterly security update.

Samsung moves forward with work for Android 14 and One UI 6

As per the information, the June 2023 update for Galaxy M33 5G is rolling out in Panama. It indicates that the update will be available in other Latin American countries in the coming days. The latest security update brings over 60 security vulnerability fixes, which enhance the security of the device.

Moreover, the June 2023 update may also bring some improvements to the functioning of the device. But it doesn’t bring any new features or innovation for it; however, Samsung sometime adds some secret features that are limited to internal functions, so don’t expect much from the update.

The Galaxy M33 users who belong to Panama will now be started getting the new firmware update through OTA(over the air). The update will gradually reach every user, so whenever the update is available for your device, you will get a notification. Generally, it reaches the users in under a week, so if you don’t get any notification event after a week, then you can also check it manually by going to the software update menu through system settings.
