Galaxy Watch 6 Series’s name and model numbers confirmed
With an expected introduction at Samsung’s upcoming Unpacked Event in Seoul at the end of July, the much-awaited and highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 series is set to make its global debut. Prior to their official release, both smartwatches, the Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, have been discovered on various certification websites, including FCC, GCF, and Safety Korea. According to a reliable source, 9to5Google, it has been reported both models from the Watch 6 series were recently spotted on Google Play Certification.
The appearance of these watch series on the Google Play Console listing has increased excitement. Further, the listing reveals the individual model numbers for these forthcoming smartwatches. Additional information regarding the model numbers of the series has shown up; Galaxy Watch 6’s 40mm variant comes with the model number SM-R930, and the 44mm variant comes with the model number SM-R940. The 42mm and 46mm variants of Galaxy Watch 6 Classic arrive as model numbered SM-R950 and SM-R960.
Samsung will solve the wearing detection problem of Galaxy Watch on TATTOOS
Previously leaked news has provided the details of batteries, and the official marketing photos offered the design and battery capacity of the Watch 6 series. Following recent reports, the forthcoming smartwatches will have a bigger display and smaller bezel than their predecessors. While the specified sizes-those that have appeared in previous leaks-are not confirmed by this listing, the codenames “fresh6bl” and “fresh6bs” make it clear that they relate to big and small sizes, respectively.
But the LTE models have not been verified for certification; it is expected in the coming weeks before the launch, other editions of Watch 6 will probably receive certification. Other information includes the Exynos W930 CPU, manufactured using a 5nm technology, which will drive these watches. The inbuilt storage of 16 GB and 2 GB RAM is equipped with the model.
