A couple of days ago, Samsung started rolling out the July 2023 security patch to its latest flagship Galaxy S23 series in the United States, which was available to models locked by T-Mobile and is now rolling out the update to more carriers.

The July 2023 security patch is now rolling out for carrier-locked by Xfinity Mobile, Comcast, Spectrum Mobile, and US Cellular Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. The update carries the firmware version S91*USQS1AWFD, and it does not bring any new features or enhancements, thanks to which a total of 90 vulnerabilities are fixed.

If you have one of the carrier-locked devices listed above, you should, in turn, receive the relevant update in the next few days; simply check your phone settings.

The update should also become available in other markets. To proceed with the download of the update, simply go to Settings -> Software Update -> Download and install.
