One UI 6.0 Rumored to Introduce Home Screen Widgets on the Lock Screen

The arrival of the One UI 6 update from Samsung is the most anticipated thing that everyone has been expecting. By completing the One UI 5 and One UI 5.1 for Android 13 within the planned time period to users, Samsung proves that they are always concerned about offering upgrades to the users more than other manufacturers. On Samsung’s servers in South Korea, India, and Europe, the beta versions of One UI 6 have been discovered this week. The firm officially announced Android 14 and also initiated the internal testing of One UI 6, making it start from the Galaxy S23 series.

Several rumors have revealed earlier that One UI 6 upgraded widgets will use the always-on-display (AOD) and lock screen feature similar to the one in iOS. But today, a reliable tipster Vertex360, released an animation video supporting this fact on his Twitter handle. The elements that are already present on the One UI Lock screen will be optimized depending on the placement of widgets. It is expected that the One UI 6 update will reach eligible devices as early as August. If the information gathered from the reports turns out to be true by July of 2023, the One UI 6 beta program will be announced, followed by the stable version. But the image was released just for reference purposes, not the actual UI display.
