Samsung Galaxy 2023 Unpacked’s Advertising Campaign Takes Center Stage

Published

on

In just two weeks, everyone can unleash all the excitement and joy and witness the most anticipated set of foldable, which will be launched in the Galaxy Unpacked Event in Seoul, South Korea. Samsung always gears up and thinks of new creative ideas to attract its usual customers and Non Samsung users. But this time, Samsung seems to add extra time for promotion as the event will be hosted in their native place.

Exclusive live stream on their official youtube channel, Samsung.com, Samsung Newsroom, and several mobile reviewing sites will also telecast the event, which begins at 7am ET.

By releasing teaser clips, the image looks, and official announcements on its official site Samsung is greatly making publicity for the forthcoming event. However, this is not enough to reach out information to everyone globally as not everyone keeps following up about the trends, announcements, and recent articles regarding the event.

The firm has taken a major step for offline promotion by choosing places where it is ensured to reach a good number of people, just like movie promotions nowadays. Samsung picked up some vital spots around the globe, such as the digital billboards at COEX in Seoul, Times Square in New York, Piccadilly Circus in London, Tai Koo Li in Chengdu, and Duomo in Milan.

With the quote “Join the flip side,” just like in the teaser clip released earlier, Samsung screened the advertisements and shared some of the images. Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Watch 6 series, and Galaxy Tab S9 series are the models expected to be released, but the tagline,” Joining the flip side,” illustrates the importance that the firm is giving to the foldable Galaxy Z Flip 5.

In August 2024 patch, Samsung to fix some critical issues founded earlier, in context, last month, Google reported that a critical issue had appeared on Android smartphones and tablets. To eradicate it, the company also included new patches for its Pixel devices with the June 2024 update.

However, at that time, Samsung hadn’t included the update in its Galaxy devices, but now, with the August 2024 update, the company has decided to bring the patch.

August 2024 patch update to fix the critical issues

Samsung says that it will provide the fix for the critical issue, which is coming in patch CVE-2024-32896 in August. With this patch, the company will ensure the user’s data security. You can observe how critical this issue is by the US government officials’ directive to federal employees to update their pixel devices by July 4 or stop using them.

The patch was delayed because earlier, the issue was only expected to appear on the Pixel, but later, it started appearing on Android devices as well; as Samsung has addressed the criticality, it is actively bringing the patch with the next update.

Given the issue’s criticalness, Samsung is expected to bring the August 2024 security patch earlier this time; we hope that the company will apply the update to its devices earlier than usual.

Samsung is focusing on levelling up the user interface experience in the Galaxy device. To do that, the company reportedly welcomes several UI elements designed similarly to those of its competitors.

According to the report, One UI 7 will provide a rounded icon pack and 3D-looking icons, just like macOS or visionOS. A new Quick action on the lock screen is an iOS copycat. The Gallery app icon has a white background and rainbow-type flowers.

The notification panel has been changed to a two-page panel, with one panel on the left being a notification only and the other for a quick toggle. Xiaomi’s HyperOS inspire this design. The UI changes were also applied to the camera App. Here, all the quick camera settings options were moved to the bottom.
