From the starting week of July, Samsung has started distributing the Android July 2023 security firmware updates to its several Galaxy devices. The company initially served this update to the Galaxy S23 series. After that, the Korean giant continuously distributes the update to other devices. Now the company is rolling out the same update for Galaxy Tab S6 Lite.

Currently, two models of Galaxy Tab S6 Lite are available in the market, one was released in 2020, and the other is a refreshed model that debuted in the market last year.

Users who own the LTE model of Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2022 (SM-P619) can identify the latest software update by its build number P619XXS3BWG2. Currently, July 2023 security patch is available in Brazil. According to the information, the device is listed under the quarterly security updates category, meaning the device is eligible for grabbing four security updates in a year.

As said earlier, the latest update comes with a July 2023 security patch, which brings over 90 bug fixes that enhance the overall performance and stability of the device; moreover, the update is part of mobile security maintenance, so it also comes with several resolutions for security vulnerabilities.

Users who own Galaxy Tab S6 Lite in Brazil can easily install the latest update by tapping on the notification regarding the July 2023 update, or they can manually check the update through system settings.
