Galaxy Z Flip 5G receives July 2023 Security update in the US
Samsung has taken another step towards strengthening the security of its devices by releasing a new security patch for the Galaxy Z Flip 5G in the United States. This update brings various security enhancements, fixes, and improvements to the device, ensuring that users remain protected against the latest security threats and vulnerabilities.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G has started receiving the Android July 2023 security patch in the US. The update is available for both carrier-locked and unlocked models. But currently, it is limited to T-Mobile & Sprint carrier-locked with firmware version F707USQS6HWF1. And on the other hand, all unlocked users are receiving the update on the F707U1UES6HWF1 firmware version.
The new features are not particularly numerous: for everyone, fixes are coming to about 90 system vulnerabilities.
The Galaxy Z Flip 5G users can easily install the latest update by tapping on the notification which is flashing on the top of the notification panel which is saying, “new update is available”, but if you don’t have received the notification yet, so for verification can also check it manually by going to the system settings then click on software update option, now wait until the search finished if the update available hit on Download button.
