Samsung phones will no longer receive updates after upgrading to Android 14
Samsung, one of the top Android device makers in terms of update support, is all set for its next updating policy. Samsung always offers significant feature upgrades and newer Android versions to mid-range and flagship mobiles, along with rolling out Android security updates monthly, quarterly, and biannually. However, certain Galaxy devices will not receive further updates after switching to Android 14.
The firm is still focusing on bringing Android 13 and One UI 5.1 updates to Galaxy phones and tablets, which will change later this year with the Android 14 One UI 6 updates globally to users. A few models from the Galaxy A, M, F series and a Galaxy Tablet model will mark the end of major upgrades with the release of Android 14. Galaxy A52, Galaxy A52s, Galaxy A52 5G, Galaxy A72, Galaxy A13, Galaxy A23, Galaxy M33 5G, Galaxy M53 5G, Galaxy M13, Galaxy M23, Galaxy F13, and Galaxy F23 from the Galaxy A series and the tablet model, Galaxy Tab S7 FE, are the listed devices. It is important that these devices will continue to receive fresh security updates.

All four smartphones and one Android tablet arrived on the market three years ago, in 2021. These gadgets were eligible for a three-year upgrade guarantee previously. Pre-installed with the Android 11 upgrade, then upgraded to Android 12 with One UI 4, now updated with Android 13 One UI 5, and they will be receiving their last update, Android 14 with One UI 6. Currently, the business is testing the Galaxy S23 series with Android 14 One UI 6.
