Samsung account is now more secure with a two-factor authentication feature

Samsung account app works as a pass key which helps you to use different Samsung exclusive features such as Find My Mobile, Samsung HealthGalaxy storeSmartThings, etc. If you want to use all the services, then you have to create a Samsung account. Now the application is getting a new update which will bring a two-factor authentication feature; let’s know about it. 

Two-factor authentication is added with the new update

Samsung has rolled out the new update of the Samsung account app. It comes with version number 12.1.01.3. With the new update, it will be mandatory to set two-factor authentication every time when you create or log in. The latest update is now available on the Galaxy store with the 12.55MB of installation file size.

Being an application that provides a security check on logging in to the device’s main function, it requires to be up to date to work properly. So if you missed updating the application, so recommended to update it immediately, as it may cause trouble in some crucial functionalities of the device.
