It seems Samsung intends to extend the Galaxy M series with the Galaxy M44 5G as the next product continuing the series. Galaxy M series are positioned in the mid-range and low-end segments which includes all the basic characteristics of an entry level smartphone in addition to few more sophisticated capabilities. The Galaxy M44 5G was spotted on the Geekbench website and some specifications of the model have been brought to light. SM-M446K is the model number of the Galaxy M44 5G.
In the Geekbench listing, the CPU’s codename has been mentioned “lahaina” which claims that the smartphone is driven by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset with eight cores. The Galaxy M44 5G scored 1531 on Geekbench’s single-core test and 3771 on the multi-core test. The phone runs over Android 13 as an operating system. Along with the Snapdragon chipset the Adreno 660 GPU will power up the M44 5G.
The processor has a clock speed of 1.80 GHz in its first cluster, 2.42 GHz in its second cluster and the maximum clock speed of 2.84 GHz in its third cluster. An internal storage of 128 GB and 6 GB of RAM will equip the model. The confirmed specifications of the model are awaited but it will arrive at a budget friendly cost. The model may include some similar features to Galaxy M34 5G as the product is its predecessor.
The triple rear camera, Full HD+ Super AMOLED 6.5-inch display screen and a battery life of 6,000 mAh, screen protection through Gorilla Glass 5 and 13 megapixel selfie camera are some of the significant features of the Galaxy M44 5G predecessor, Galaxy M34 5G. However, we can expect enhanced features to equip the upcoming M series model.
