Galaxy S23 FE’s live photo revealed online

During Samsung’s Unpacked Galaxy event, the Vice President of Samsung South Africa hinted at the arrival of the Galaxy S23 FE by stating that there would be an announcement imminently. Samsung may now focus on the upcoming fan edition products, as it launched the foldables, watch series, and tablet series successfully. A live image of the upcoming Galaxy S23 FE’s US variant has been discovered on the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) website. Along with the image, it contained some basic information about the variant.

The appearance of the model on the WPC website confirms that it will support wireless charging. The Galaxy S23 FE has the model number SM-S711U. From the live image, we can see how much the upcoming model resembles its predecessor. Surprisingly, a feature comes out of the box: the S23 FE has a flat look. Its predecessor, the Galaxy S21 FE, had a 2.5D screen; the term 2.5D is exclusively used to refer to contoured glass, which is any glass that has a minor curve towards its edges.

The face of the phone and the bezels surrounding the display are visible in the live image. The phone’s power and volume controls are on the right side. Flat panels bring benefits relating to the user experience, like improved one-handed navigation and typing. The bigger bezels make inadvertent touches less likely. This feature may bring a significant change to the fan edition series. The model will likely be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor in the US and China. The Exynos 2200 chipset will power up the other regions.

Samsung could split Galaxy S23 FE between Snapdragon and Exynos variant

A 12-megapixel front camera sensor is probably mounted on a flat 6.4-inch Full HD+ resolution AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a punch hole in the center is expected to feature the model. Internal storage of 128 GB, 256 GB, and 8 GB RAM. The Galaxy S23 FE runs on top of One UI on Android 13. Battery system with 4,500 mAh and 25W fast charging support. A 50 MP main sensor, a 12 MP sensor with an ultra-wide angle lens, and an 8 MP sensor with a telephoto lens will make up the phone’s triple rear camera system.
