Samsung Electronics has come up with the new initiative by expanding the sports channel. The expansion of the company’s free access sports offering for Samsung clients includes the addition of the OTT service FIFA+ to Samsung TV Plus. The DAZN Tizen app, DAZN FAST+, the DAZN Women’s Football Channel, the Tennis Channel, DraftKings Network, and CBS Sports HQ are some of the sports channels that are available on Samsung TV Plus. Each of the channels is limited to the regions between Austria, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, the UK, the US, and Switzerland.

With hundreds of films and TV shows available to stream for free directly to your home, TV Plus is Samsung’s entry into the free-to-view industry. Millions of customers in India may use Samsung TV Plus, an ad-supported streaming service accessible only on Samsung Smart TVs. The FIFA+ FAST channel on Samsung TV Plus will add to the already existing sports programming on the service by providing a selection of exclusive documentaries, archival video, and highlights from previous Men’s and Women’s matches.

However, the announcement is in accordance with the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 in Australia and New Zealand. Users may enjoy countless hours of FIFA+ content through the FIFA+ channel on Samsung TV Plus. With programs like The Happiest Man in the World, Croatia:Defining a Nation, and Bravas de Juarez, FIFA+ originals will also offer chat shows and short films focusing on men’s and women’s competition other than highlights.

Richard Jakeman, Head of Business Development at Samsung Electronics Europe, stated, Samsung is delighted to be adding the FIFA+ channel to Samsung TV Plus, thereby expanding the roster of sports content available on Samsung TVs and Galaxy devices. Launching globally with a rich lineup of curated FIFA+ content will add incredible value to our customers, and with the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023TM continuing, they’ll also be able to experience content that marks the next exciting chapter in the Women’s game.”

FIFA+ is now accessible globally over five new linked TV applications, such as Samsung TV, LG, VIDAA, Amazon Fire, and Android TV, as well as five new FAST channel platforms: Samsung TV Plus, LG Channels, VIDAA Channels, The Roku Channel, and Rakuten TV.
