Samsung announced Odyssey Neo G9 57 the World’s First Dual UHD Gaming Monitor
Samsung has introduced its new Odyssey monitor line, which includes the Odyssey Neo G9 57-inch and Odyssey Ark 55-inch. The Odyssey Neo G9 is the first dual ultra-high-Definition (DUHD) gaming monitor in the world, and it is now available for pre-order internationally. The largest video game trade expo in Europe, Gamescom, which runs from August 23 to August 27 in Cologne, Germany, will feature Samsung Electronics Co.’s recent gaming monitors. Odyssey Ark, the first 55-inch 1000R curved gaming monitor in the world, will be made available next month.
The 57-inch Odyssey Neo G9 (G95NC) has already won CES 2023’s Best of Innovation Award. Its enormous 57-inch panel, which is as big as two 32-inch UHD displays, has a 1000R immersive curvature and a dramatic 32:9 aspect ratio. It includes AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, which reduces screen tearing, stuttering, or input lag in fast-moving and complicated gaming situations, in addition to providing stunning picture quality through Quantum Mini-LED and Quantum Matrix Technology.

For seamless gaming, effective video playback, and the Neo G9’s DUHD resolution up to 240 Hz, the Odyssey Neo G9 57-inch has a DisplayPort (DP) 2.1 interface, which has been verified by VESA.2. A USB hub and HDMI 2.1 are additional features of the Odyssey Neo G9 57″ in addition to DP2.1. It will also launch the Odyssey Ark with improved performance, and the 55-inch screen model offers far greater connection and convenience than its predecessor due to a multi-view feature that enables simultaneous input and output of up to four external devices for gaming while simultaneously consuming a variety of multimedia material.
A single command station for seamless multitasking across several devices, the Keyboard, Video, and Mouse (KVM) switch feature makes the Ark Users can concurrently see input from three HDMI ports and a DP1.4 connection in the newly added multi-view. Its 165 Hz refresh rate, 1 ms GTG reaction time, and Cockpit Mode’s vertical position give it an added advantage.
Gaming enthusiasts will benefit from the Odyssey Neo G9 57″ monitor’s wide, high-definition screen and innovative input.
For ambient lighting and a cozy multitasking environment, it also has Core Lighting+ and CoreSync. Also included are an ergonomic stand, Auto Source Switch+ for simple connection, picture-in-picture, and picture-by-picture modes. Pre-orders for the Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 and the Odyssey ARK for 2023 will open in September and at Gamescom, respectively.

Samsung is already working on the Galaxy S25 series, which is supposed to debut early next year. Now the other device comes into existence, as reports are revealing that Samsung is also building a new notebook named the Galaxy Book 4 Edge.
The forthcoming Galaxy Book 4 Edge notebook was spotted on the Korea safety certification. This is speculated by a post on X shared by a tipster, @SujanTharu66. Apart from the existence of the latest device, the tipster also mentioned other specs, such as a processor and more.
It is reported that the forthcoming Galaxy Book 4 Edge will be powered by Qualcomm’s 12-core Snapdragon X Elite X1E-80-100 SoC. It is expected that the brand could make it available in two variants based on display size:
- The first variant could feature a 14-inch display.
- The second variant could feature a 16-inch display.
Both variants are expected to have 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The tipster in his post also mentioned the price according to which the 14” variant could be priced at 14001 Danish Kroner, which is approximately 14679 yuan, and the bigger one, 16″, could be priced at 21322 Danish Kroner, which is about 22355 yuan.
However, the tipster didn’t mention the release date of this Galaxy Book 4 Edge, and since it’s already in the developing stage, it is expected that soon it may be on the floor.
