Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 Display Gets a Secret Upgrade
The South Korean tech giant has surely kept its promise by making the Galaxy Z Fold 5 the best-ever foldable released till now. And the features specify that all the waiting will be worth it. The reviewer starts by removing the plastic bumper around the Flexscreen, which was fitted quite hard. After that, he sliced the display of the gadget, scratching the four corners. Under the display sheet, the YouTuber showcases the metal frame developed by Samsung with a thin layer of foam. Behind the screen’s display lies a gold sheet with vertical lines, which can be considered the shock dispersion layer, but it is not. The firm employed its hidden lifesaver element, the shock dispersion layer, which gives the look of a thick fiber sheet.
In other words, it can be said to be a layer of shock absorption. The idea is that by adding this new layer, the foldable displays will be more resistant, especially when they accidentally fall to the ground. Additionally, he analyzed Samsung’s pull-tab battery and NFC’s coils by slicing the back panel of the Fold 5. The model weighs around 253 grams with a 6.2-inch exterior screen with HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2x and an interior screen measuring 7.6-inch QXGA+ Infinity Flex Dynamic AMOLED 2x, both with a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
